AAPHC provides patients with access to specialties including internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, podiatry, general dentistry, vision care, behavioral health, and pharmacy services. 

Additionally, AAPHC operates school-based health centers for students, families, and faculty members of local schools.

Albany is a proud Marine Corps community serving as home to the Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Albany. Base tenant Marine Corps Logistics Command operates one of two Marine Depot Maintenance Command headquarters in the U.S., Marine Corps Production Plant Albany, which is where ground combat weapon systems are re-manufactured by skilled artisans and inventoried to re-enter the war theatre.

  • MCLB Albany is recognized as one of the most efficient and innovative installations in the Department of Defense.

  • 5G integration supports modern initiatives such as centralized communications systems, smart warehousing, additive manufacturing, advanced weapons systems maintenance, storage, and sustainment.

  • The base is conveniently located within 5 miles of US 82/Albany Bypass, with easy access to Hwy 300 and I-75.

  • Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany is an economic driver in Albany-Dougherty County with an estimated annual economic impact of $1.7 billion and a workforce of more than 4,000 civilian-Marines, active-duty military, and contractors.

According to the US Department of Labor Women’s Bureau, 89% of military spouses have some college education, with 30% holding a four-year degree and 15% holding an advanced degree, making these military spouses a valuable component to the local labor pool.
