Jana Dyke Shares Industrial Development Insights at ECG Economic Development Summit

March 9, 2026

The Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission (ADEDC) was proud to see President & CEO Jana Dyke take the stage at the 2026 Electric Cities of Georgia (ECG) Economic Development Summit, held March 2–4, 2026 on Jekyll Island.

The annual summit brings together economic development professionals, community leaders, and industry experts from across the state to exchange ideas and explore strategies that help Georgia communities grow and compete.

Jana participated in the Industrial Development Session: “When Product Shelves are Empty,” a timely discussion focused on one of the biggest challenges facing communities today—having development-ready industrial sites available when companies are ready to expand or relocate.

During the session, Jana helped discuss how communities can proactively prepare for industrial growth by investing in infrastructure, building strong partnerships, and developing strategic site readiness plans. She also shared insights from the work happening in Albany-Dougherty County to ensure the region is well-positioned to respond when opportunities arise.

The conversation highlighted the importance of collaboration among local governments, utilities, regional partners, and private industry to ensure communities can remain competitive in today’s fast-moving economic landscape.

ADEDC is grateful to Electric Cities of Georgia and ECG Economic Development Manager Scott Berta for the opportunity to contribute to this important statewide conversation. As Albany-Dougherty County continues to build momentum, opportunities like this allow our community’s voice to be part of the broader dialogue shaping Georgia’s economic future.
