Celebrating Local Leadership: Jana Dyke Named to Georgia Trend’s 2025 Georgia 500

November 24, 2025

The Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission is proud to celebrate a major moment for our community: Georgia Trend has released its 2025 Georgia 500 list, honoring the state’s most influential leaders. Once again, our President & CEO, Jana Dyke, is among them.

This distinction recognizes leaders who are shaping Georgia’s future through vision, impact, and long-term community investment. Jana’s continued presence on this prestigious list is a testament not only to her leadership, but to the momentum building throughout Dougherty County.

In her feature, Georgia Trend highlights several major wins for our region over the past year — achievements that reflect Jana’s commitment to strengthening Albany’s economic landscape and creating new pathways for business growth:

  • Securing 500 new industrial acres at Pecan Grove, expanding the region’s capacity for new investment and job creation.

  • Helping bring the first satellite office of the Georgia Grown Innovation Center to Albany, strengthening our connection to statewide agricultural innovation and supporting local businesses.

These milestones are more than accomplishments — they’re building blocks for long-term economic opportunity across Dougherty County.

Under Jana’s leadership, ADEDC continues to champion initiatives that boost industry competitiveness, support local employers, and elevate the region’s presence across Georgia. Her strategic vision is helping position Albany as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth.

We are proud to see Jana recognized among Georgia’s most influential leaders and equally proud of what this means for our community. When Albany succeeds, Georgia succeeds — and Jana’s work ensures we keep moving forward.
