The Phoebe Putney Health System is a widely recognized leader in the healthcare industry with a network of over 5,400 physicians, nurses, and staff members across southwest Georgia and an estimated $1.48 billion impact on the southwest Georgia economy.

Phoebe operates more than 50 healthcare delivery facilities throughout the region, with its flagship location, Putney Memorial Hospital, located in the heart of Albany-Dougherty County. The Phoebe network provides a full roster of world class healthcare services including primary care, emergent care, women’s health, obstetrics, cardiac care, oncology, and sports medicine, to name only a few. 

Phoebe Corporate Health serves over 900 companies through workers compensation, health screenings, vaccinations, physicals, education, ergonomic assessments, drug screening, and a variety of other programs. Each of these services offer employers direct access to quality healthcare for their employees, ultimately lowering operational costs and improving their bottom line. 

 

Albany Area Primary Healthcare (AAPHC) has served the southwest Georgia community as the region's largest community health center. AAPHC offers services in Baker, Calhoun, Crisp, Colquitt, Dooly, Dougherty, Lee, Thomas, and Terrell Counties in its mission to provide quality healthcare for everyone.

AAPHC provides patients with access to specialties including internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, podiatry, general dentistry, vision care, behavioral health, and pharmacy services. 

Additionally, AAPHC operates school-based health centers for students, families, and faculty members of local schools.
